Is this electrical strong enough for 1600 watts?

A friend of mine is looking to hook up a 1200 watt monoblock and a 400 watt 4 channel.
His alternator is 110 watts, and he has an 800cca agm.

Does this sound like dimming?
tell him to do the big 3 then test his voltage while playing, if it drops to low then add a 2nd batt in the rear of the vehicle. for that power i think he should be fine with that alt. i ran more power on a smaller alt without issues

I'd just hook it all up and test your actual ampere usage and go from there.

You can get a good idea about your ampere demand by using inline fuses from the battery and testing.

Max out your volume to your own real life comfort level, use your most demanding music. Start with a big fuse and go smaller and see how small of a fuse you can run before the fuse blows. This gives you an idea of what you're dealing with.

My system NEVER pulls more than 80 amps. Stock alternator, 1 stock battery, 4 Ga wire & 1900 watts of amps.

(some equipment is more efficient than other so....)
