ok everyone says caps are just a band aid and rule of thumb 1farad pre 1000watts, well i have a 1200x4 and getting 2 1000x2's but the 1200 is wired to only putting 600 out so total 2600watts, the kinetik HC600 says its better than 100 1 farad caps so if i put one of these in my trunk(cant afford nothin else just dont wanna get caps) so if i use one of these for now is it better than just runnin all 3 amps off the main batt? or would i be better off just runnin it off the main crap batt and callin it a day, not able to get a diff or better batt at this time til a catch up the bills after i spend my stim check on new subs so if not doin comps and dont really need all the voltage will this work for the tim being until i can get a couple yellow top optimas and an alt.?

crunch GP2250 (500w X 2@2ohms) slightly over rated i would think so more along 800 comin out of it but my subs are only rated for 375rms anyway so it kinda works out, and my amp for my highs crunch GP4150 (150w X 4@4ohms, 300x X 4@2ohms) i got components hooked to it so its into 4ohm loads! so might be a total of 2200watts or somethin like that!

just run it with the extra battery, it doesn't hurt much unless you have a shitty alt.

so maybe 400 on your highs and maybe 1k to your subs.

Just run an extra battery, keep a close eye on your voltage and bump it. If it goes below 11 might want to charge the rear batt on a batt charger overnight or something, you should be able to do that on stock electrical.

SO definitly get the extra battery right now, 2 more dwon the road and the extra can go up front.

well i getting 4 12's and puttin a 1k amp on each pair!( seems to be cheaper than gettin one big amp plus the subs are dvc4 ohm so each pair is 1ohm load!)

I have a stock 70amp. alt and I have a g31 batt. in the back and would be running more power from you if i want to. So just go with the extra batt. and you'll be fine

cool thanks for the help ppl! one more ? do i have to run my ground back to the main batt? with caps ya don gotta but do i absolutly need to on the spare batt being its so small?
