is this a normal ohm load?

hello i have 2 4 ohm dvc subs (kappa perfect 12.1d) when i test the ohms on each voice coil they are either 4.6 and 4.7 is that normal?

anyway when i wire it down for a 1 ohm load and i test it with the multimeter i am seeeing 1.4-1.5 ohm load is that right or is something wrong please help me asap

Those readings are within the expected tolerences of the coils.

so if my subs cut in and out at high volumes what does that mean?

Could be lots of things

ground, alt, a short somewhere
