Is This A Good Setup?

i have apair of DLS AUDIO 6.5" UP6 components as the front stage. and i am using the back 5" stocks as rear fill buh is faded for the front stage to sound out. i am using a 12" JBL GTO 12" dual 4ohm sub. Question is this good for a SQ system and i am using bout 400 rms of power on mids and highs. how much bass is needed to balance? 500, 600 rms? since the front stage sounds out more than the rear th amp pushes bout 300 rms total. also i am barely using my gains on my amps. using a Zapco sound processor

More wattage wont really make the sub a whole lot louder. It will however make the bass alot cleaner due to the amp having more control over teh sub, which may make the overall system sound better and the bass balance out with your highs.

What kind of car are you putting this into? Some cars have a really sealed off trunk, like a BMW or Mercedes.
