Is this a Good high Output Alt

Is this altenator a good High output altenator for a 2000-2500 watt system?

IF u know any othergood ones please post link so i can check it out i need one for a 2001 impala.

I got an alt from an ebay seller before and was very happy for the price (maniac motors). Not sure if they still exist. Possibly not as nice as one of the boutique brand alts, but less than half the money.

I would keep the stock on hand. Like in the car with tools. But delco is a decent brand?

I have a stock 140 from db and am plenty happy. I do keep the old one in the trunk just incase cause my car is known to eat up non ford alts. Going on 1.5 years with 0 issues. Not a ho but still says something about the quality.

Stop being cheap the alternator is what makes everything run well and last long.

if u wanna go with db electrical they are decent for the money "I HEAR" >> I am looking at a 250 for 289 shipped right now

I've had a lot of luck with DB electric alternators.. Some people on here will STRONGLY disagree, but I have nothing bad to say about them.. PLUS their prices are super low.. I currently run a 3000watt RMS system with a DB electric 200 amp alt+ 2 yellow top Optima batts(d34/78) w/a single 1/0 awg run from batt to batt+big 3 and cadence zero gauge wire.. it only set me back about $225.. Like I said.. dirt cheap. hope i helped.

delco is a decent brand. i have a 220a ho alt delco brand for my blazer. and i gets the job done. mine tested 145a @ idle & 248a 2k rpms. no i just need to replace my shotty a$$ batteries lol
