Is this a good combo?

I think I may go with Type-R Speakers SPR-17S as I think the type R subs seem good. They seem to be priced good off of ebay. I would put a set in the front and a set in the back. I would run them off a MRP-F600. Would that setup work or would the speakers be underpowered running at 100w x 4? Is having a set in the back and front a good idea, or should I use a coaxial 2 way in the back?

Would these provide good mid bass for techno?

Anyone have anything to say about these?

using rear speakers is a personal choice, some don't some only put speakers in the rear and power them with the HU...

I have the same speakers in the front of my honda and they sound pretty decent and all I have right now powering them is my alpine X-100 HU, as soon as I get my new amp (sundown 100.4) then I will power the fronts in a 2 way with the rears powered by the deck

but from my understanding, there are better comps out there for the same or just a bit more $$$

Yes, if you can get the diamond audio hex's do it. They are fantastic speakers. Get the ones with the silk tweeters and u will be amazed. They are at onlinecarstereo.com for $189 for a 5 1/4 set and $199 for a 6 1/2 set. U will be impressed and will sound awesome with techno.

Add the price of both component sets and get one good set for the front. Read up around here and you'll thank me later... You can do that and get a nice amp to bridge and you'll be set.
