Looks like those numbers were at 13.14 volts.

The THD is pretty ugly though.

Pas Mag states the voltages in the review (13.14 & 12.99, respectively)

Car Audio mag states the mono output figure is @ 12.6V, and given industry standards it's reasonable to assume the stereo figures are 14.4V or less (the full article might say, but I don't have access to the magazine version)

Car Sound states in the review it was tested at 14.4V

First you make an apparently erroneous statement that Sony is horrendously overrated with evidently no evidence to support it.

When I provide evidence to the contrary via objective measured results from three separate and independent sources, you proceed to attempt to discredit all three independent and unrelated reviewers with, yet again (yet not surprisingly), zero evidence to support such a claim.

First none of those reviews are for the amp in question and therefore irrelevant. The second amp that is a redish orange color was about the only line of Sony that was decent.

Heres a nice review of their supposed high end home theater stuff.

Yes, and 1% is an inaudible level of distortion as well as an industry standard measurement threshold and also the THD for CEA-2006 compliance.

You said Sony in general wasnt over rated. I found proof proving their more advance HT division was extremely over rated. That fulfills what you asked for. Now take your Sony hugging *** else where because Sony sucks.

i dont work for sony but i do remember car audio mag doing a review on a d-class sony amp and they were off by like 30 watts so i would get a sony amp if the price was right, not everbody can afford audison or even jl audio
