You would be fine with 1.33. No reason to worry about altering your wiring plan.

If you really wired all 12 coils in series it would be a 48Ω load, from just a quick look at it you could wire them to 48Ω, 12Ω, 5.33Ω, 3Ω, 1.33Ω, and .33Ω. You need to wire them in a combination of series and parallel. If you wire each subwoofer in parallel so that each sub has a 2Ω load, then wire three subwoofers together in series for a 6Ω load, then wire the two groups of three subs in parallel you end up with a 3Ω final load.

That's $42 a sub. Not a great deal.

Probably wont fit right unless you do sealed which is a waste...

you could do worse, but that's not a bad amp you have, you're better off powering two 12"s and saving your space(&peace of mind) in the long run.

What you're planning to do is buy 6 9 year old 10" 400w subs and powering them with a 1000w amp. Your basically answering your own question, but

don't know it, and if you don't know it don't do it. Do the math, take into account how much space you have in your trunk the size of the enclosure

and displacement. Subs are going to be underpowered no matter how they are wired.

Why get a 10 dollar lap dance from a hooker when you can have your own [b']b[/b]itch, do it right.

the box is 4ft long 2 feet wide and 12.5 deep...i sold my 2-13w7 and one of the 1000/1 i need money at the time..so im looking for something new..i have money to spend..and these kickers caught my eye and they look like new and there cheap..i dont need the trunk space the car is not my daily driver..or i was thinking..always wanted to try out a Death penalty 21" subs

i have plenty of trunk space..ive had 4-12w7s in a built to spec ported box hooked up to 4 jl 1000/1,ive hd 2-13w7s and 2 1000/1 and ive also had 2-18 fi q's in huge 8 cubic ft ported box not to mention all my wiring and 2 kinteik 2000hc with both the 12w7,13w7 and the 18 fi q's..the trunk space is the lest of my worries..

my installer/box guy is the the ****!!! but he's not cheap...

OP,

the point is those Kicker CompVr's are 9 years old no matter how they ''good'' they look. In 3 years do you want to be stuck with Kicker CompVr's that are 12 years old?

I mean are you even sure the box for sale ''at the pawn shop'' is MDF, did you knock on it and check? Think, about the future of your system, the future of your listening

exp. Don't be so concerned with now, do the right thing so you'll be happy in the long run no matter what you choose. Sometimes that takes a lot of patience, especially

if you have no system, but if you have money to play with look into something else besides the woofers you are asking about.
