I agree with the guy who mentioned that xbl2 clipping thing... I recently installed my friend's Avalanche 12 for him being powered off a Soundstream PCA 2.880. When I set the gains using a DMM, my dumbass friend kept bugging me to up the gains because he was sure it could take it. So since its his system I decided to humor him... low and behold there was always this small rattle noise evident when clipping. For him it was a slight problem though because its in a hatch and you can hear it inside.

well mines in a hatchback too, but i can't really hear it most of the time.

i had a similar problem with my brahma. i found out that the spider was partially detached. it was an easy fix. however, contact re first to see if they'll fix it.

I had a problem with an older Rockford fosgate driver where the Spider cam partially detached from the cone, it made a rattling noise...............So i finished it off with a light socket.

Dude I am not trying to talk $hit, but you need to read up on some install tips man. You have had two of the most talked up subs on here and have had problems with both. Did you even search the forums for much info, or did you figure just cuz you bought a nice *** sub its gotta sound nice ?? just my 2 cents.

you have the sub in a 1 cf box, right, There may be a possibility your sub is moving so much air that it is has slightly loosened the box and maybe a piece of wood is rattling, plus that sub is not at all meant to be in a such a small box, an ignorant friend of mine put his mofo 12 in a 1 cf sealed box, and literally destroyed it over time, the top piece was shaken of the box

My 15 xxx sounded great in 2 cubes sealed... not the most output i've heard //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif but it sounded awesome.
