Is there really such a thing as SQ subs?

i believe that a pair of headphones can play lows... hell, they're right on your ears. It doesn't take much.
exactly and they are sealed against the inside of your ear. If you sealed an 8" sub into your ear it would be instant death of your eardrum

Thank you, people start talking about headphones and everyones comparing them to car audio:rolleyes:

Like I said, go listen to a pair THEN speak on them. If your too lazy/broke/scared2bwrong to try them out then I guess your opinion dosnt hold much value

Manufacture specs are always accurate //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
Non user reviews are always accurate too, as long as what he said/my assumtions are accurate:crap:

I have had 3 pair of these phones, you???? and as far as the specs being accurate, accurate or not. You cant find a song on my ipod that you can play in my car and not hear EVERY bass line in those headphones, sadly enough they have better SQ than my system, but Im getting a amp for the insides to fix all of that

like i said listen to a pair first.
i have good reason to believe that audioholic has heard a pair of headphones before... and i also have good reason to believe that what he is saying is accurate and correct.

he is not saying you arent hearing the low frequencies, he is saying that the headphones are not capable of reproducing these frequencies with authority. i think you misunderstood his point.

It would be very informative to me personally, if someone with a well put together "sq" system could post up all of their equipment. I get bored of this site and all the "bass heads", not that Im not one of them but I like it both ways.

Wow, finally someone comes along that has something smart to say. Kudos to you.
If some of you think headphones can reproduce 20hz with authority, Im curious what you think 'with authority' means. Or, maybe you were too busy being all hot and defensive over yout $15 headphones to fully think through the topic.

The funniest part is, we aren't even talking about around or over the ear headphones, we are discussing the cheapest style of head phones made... in-ear. Gee no, I have no idea what your crappy little headphones are capable of! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

ED subs are pretty **** clear, and get loud doing so. I had a 13Ov.3 in a sealed enclosure, it was the cleanest bass i have ever heard, threw it in a custom ported box, and wow. But yes i did sell it because my Beyond Audio sub is a low end monster, i think my babies are going to still feel the bass when there born lol.

My original goal was to get (2) 11Ov.3 sub, port them in my RSX. But i acquired an Fi Q, and we all know FI is pretty awesome sub. So yeah. But for a sub that plays every kind of bass, ED is an awesome choice. Also free shipping and a 5 year warranty, cant go wrong.

After everything, I cannot believe you are still trying to sell product for Ben Milne. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Even you admit there are just as good of products out there.... why not recommend that Fi Q instead?
