Is the size of vehicle relevant in sub enclosure tuning?

If you have a (very) small car or a single cab truck is tuning low, 28hz - 32hz kind of pointless. Should I tune higher 34hz +. I'm running four E8's on a Sundown SAE-1200d in 1.6 cubes. I could be completely wrong, just going by a few random things I've heard here and there.

You're not really going to find info on your car, you need to do real life experimentation.
