Is the JL Audio ported HO box for the W6 as good as every one says it is?

Depends on what the specs for it are, and what exactly it is. IIRC the old HO boxes for the W7's were horn designs instead of normal ported boxes.

I've been told buy numerous shops that if I'm goin to get that sub it's best to get that box because JL put alot of work in the box and that it's designed for that particular sub.
