Is the company you work for doing well in this economy?

I sell nissan parts at a dealership. When I'm having a not so profitable day I usually jack prices up according to how much of an ******* I want to be. I'm in control of my own destiny. screw you if you don't like it.

I used to work as a customer service rep for an auto parts place; and as their cs guy I had to clean up the mess left by jagoff salemen like you all the time. Your just destroying the credibility of your own workplace. People like you were the reason I quit that place, I got tired of dealing with all the pissed off customers because they were lied to or overcharged for the sake of commission. I hope karma catches up to you someday & some mechanic tears you a new one.

As for my (former) job, people will always need the mail, so they are doing just fine; maybe slightly better since DHL went under. During the holiday's though Fedex lost their biggest business account to UPS ( it was L.L.Bean), which probably hurt them. Unfortunately I was laid off after peak for poor attendance in '08.

The company I used to work for (they make house and car keys) is doing fantastic... they make those Disney keys you may have seen at Lowes and Home Depot. Their sales are going crazy globally.

We are doing pretty well at Sundown too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i work for the military in housing. i will always have a job unless if if the military base closes down here, which still i can get transferred anywhere else. even so the bases aren't going to close down here so i'm all good.

i'm happy with where i'm at and the money i make so. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Human service company. doing ok. No layoffs, but budgets are tighter. Doesnt effect my job. Unless state budget cuts close some of the properties.

I do Maintenance. We run homes for dys, dss, dmh.

Theres tons of wanna be gansta kids out there keeping us busy.

Plus the mentaly handicapped aint getting better any time soon.

we have been very slow. last month we only sold 103k in furniture and that is before paying for it, rent and employee's salaries. we are not doing well at all. we usually do 2-3 times that much a month

I work in the construction/service industry. And even though I hear a lot of people in my area talking about how slow things are, how the economy is messed up, and how there isn't any jobs, at my company we haven't slowed a bit. I get overtime every week. And we actually need help, but no one is applying.

I work for the State of CA.. We are starting mandatory furloughs this Friday to save a couple billion dollars for the state.. Besides of the state running out of money things are going swell... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
