ok, so i have my subs and i have figured out the amp to power them. now i need to figure out if the box that i have will be sufficient or if i am better off with a different design. the following is as much useful information as i can think of, but if you need anymore just ask. also haven't been able to find detailed specs on the speakers, so i don't know fo, qes, xmax or anything like that, that's why i need your help. haven't found anyone that has that info either, so hopefully you all can still throw me some input. thanks.

car: 99 altima

subs: pair of 12" american bass vfl1266

amp: rockford t1500

current box: sealed 34x14x14 3/4mdf

music: mostly juggalo beats and nu-metal like slipknot, manson, mudvayne, etc

empty trunk: 14 cu ft

correction! just found the following if it helps

Vas (liter) 142.41 Fs (Hz) 23.06 Qts 0.33

Not 100% but I think you need 2.11 ft^3 ea and that box is only 2.87 ft^3 roughly altogether. Don't know if that's 100% right I'm new at designing boxes.

VAS in cubic feet

Vb=(VAS(Qts/Qcb)^2)+1

Qcb=.7

that's the math I did i think it's the right equation then your boxs dimensions internally are 32.5(-.75 if there is a spacer)*12.5*12.5/1728=2.87ft^3 woith spacer 2.89ft^3 without

then I went to a calculator http://www.diyaudioandvideo.com/Calculator/Box/ that does it when you plug in the numbers and it's showing 1.43ft^3 ea so either I screwed up or the calculator did. I most likely screwed up. They seem to be using a completely different equation than me so, yeah. You either have to small a box or a perfect box lol.

Most 12's like it around 2-2.5 cuft tuned to 33-36 I wish I could give you more accurate numbers but I can't find anything about those subs. The website of the company doesn't have clickable links to specific subs, or atleast not on an iPhone. So I don't know what the min or max cuft for that sub is. The calculator I use is saying 3.14 cuft ea tuned to 34-35 hz though. Dunno how accurate that is cause I'm not finding the information I want.
