IS p880prs compatible with new Pioneer CD-UB100 USB adaptor?

Anyone know if the CD-UB100 works with the 880prs? I have the P6900ub, and the USB connection is VERY handy if you want to use an Ipod or USB drive. But I am not satisfied with its processing abilities, so I was thinking of switching to the 880, but only if it is compatible with th CD-UB100.

actually I heard that the 880 may have the same IB buss system as the head units that you listed as being compatible. So it is possible that this thing does work with the 880, just need confirmation from some real users.

The '07 Premier catalog I have in front of me says that it is compatible with the 880PRS , but you have to use external controls.

by external controls, you mean you can't control on head unit? THen what would you use to control the ipod? its own controls can't be used when it is hooked up to the receiver as far as I know.

If you wanna use the ipod with the 880, just buy the cdib100ii. No need for the usb unless you're trying to use a flashdrive or harddrive.
