Kenwood DNX7100 vs Avic D3

Well guys i've had my heart set on buying an avic d3 for my next headunit, but recently my friend offered me a DNX7100 for 600 bucks brand new. I haven't heard much about it and barely found anything when i searched for it. Anyone have any experience with the kenwood or even the d3? Just looking for some guidance on which headunit would be best.

Unless your buddy works for a dealer, that is a crazy deal (even below what an employee could buy one directly from Kenwood).

The Kenwood retails for $1400 and the Pioneer for $1000, pretty sure the Kenwood is going to be a step up (bigger screen, etc.)

Get the Kenwood...that's a crazy deal. Usually retail for about a grand at the cheapest..
