Is my stuff wired wrong???

The guy who wired my system up, wired my subs at 4 ohms, but did it a little bit odd. Instead of running wire from each terminal on the box to a speaker terminal on the amp, he has one wire running to one terminal on the box, and then one from that terminal to the other terminal. Is this wired up right?

Cause I was a noob at the time, and I had no idea about anything that had to do with car audio. Now that I am getting more knowledgeable about the subject, I want to make sure the guy did it right.

So you have a 2 channel amp and more than likely a pair of dvc 4 ohm subs. Then yes, you can wire + on one sub and - on the other sub as the inputs. A simple test with a meter to verify the load as 4 ohms and a simple pop test with a battery should show that all subs are either in phase or not.
