Is my battery going bad?

Okay guys, now here's what's going on, I've had my Deka in for about nine months and then my alternator started dying, then on really cold days my battery drained completely three different times and now it rests at low 12's up front whenever I have read it with a multimeter but sometimes I get in the car and my rear fuse holder meter is reading low 11's. Is my battery starting to go bad and it's time to call in on warranty?

if you freeze-drained your batteries, they may be hashed from that. go buy yourself a cheap wal-mart battery that will run your car, and have the batteries conditioned and load tested. (takes at least 1 day). i've tossed piles of optima reds, and yellows from freezing temps alone. i just conditioned my bench yellow top and giving it a couple days to see how it fairs...... looks like i may be tossin that one too, and the last red i have may not fair well either to replace it..

Extreme cold can take out a good battery.

It may be a good idea to insulate the battery

if you live in an area where it can get rather cold.

The insulation will also help with the heat in summer.

Do what was said above, put it on a slow charge and then have it tested.
