Is my amp 0.5 ohm safe?

I'm wondering should i get another amp, i might get another sub soon that's dual 1ohm,just wondering if my amp,the Hifonics Bxi 2608 is safe at 0.5 ohm?DB-R told me a couple months ago but i don't remember,if i get the new sub and my amp is stable @0.5 ohm i'll keep it....if not it's goin in the classifieds so i can get something else(+ i know the Brutus line is a little overrated), so anyone with experience with it let me know!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
