is jl audio slash 1000/1v2 amp powerfull enough to run 3 10'' w6v2-D4subs?

if you have the money. go for it, but as i been reading this thread, many has given lots of options. youre going for a sq setup, so having 333 to each sub would be decent enough. I would go with 1000/1v2 and get the subs down to 2.6 ohms

Hey what amp did u get? I had a slash 1000 and it was killer. I sent it back for a brutes 1700 pos but I needed the money at the time. The slash put out more then 1000 watts and that was at 4 ohms. This pos I have now is at 1 ohm and can't touch the slash and this thing is starting to die. But I did 2 shows with my 12w 6s and got 143.7 db on the first show, took 2nd place. The 2nd one was bass race and i got a average of 140 db took 1st place. And you can tell the difference of the two amps in sq because that's what my system was made for. If you want a nice sq system then try to run the subs at 4 ohms if not then at least 2 or higher. Oh when i had the slash I did 147.8 on music. If u clamp the amps u will see the slash kicks ***. I got some videos on YouTube under this user name.
