is jl audio slash 1000/1v2 amp powerfull enough to run 3 10'' w6v2-D4subs?

or i should use 3 jl audio slash 500/1 amps ?? but that would be my last option..jl amps are too expensive for me..is'nt there any other alternative to run my 3 subs..the subs are 600 rms each so in total i would need atleast 1500-1800 rms goin to them. i can afford single slash 1000.1 amp but 3 500.1's would be too expensive..i was looking at audioque 2200d or 3500d or kicker zx 2500.1 or hifonics brutus 2400 but i heard hifonics are not good amps. any professionals ?

400 - 500rms of clean power is plenty for them, wire them to 2.67 ohms and pick up a good sq amp. You could also just wire each to 2 ohms and get 3 solid sq amps. I would stay away from kicker and hifonics with these. Are you going for sq or spl?

to tell you the truth I think it would be, I've had a couple friends blow 2 10w6v2s off of the 1000/1. You can get the 1000/1 or 1000/1v2 its the same exact thing just different casing, I wouldn't pay more than 4 bills for a mint one though.

I dno how much shipping would be but i could probably find you one for $400 a new would be close to $600 and I dno if its worth it with shipping and stuff to Toronto.

X2 ^^^ I played 3 8w7's on a 1000/1 with no prob. It was more than powerful enough for daily but if you plan on competition then you might need more power.

^^ yeah but who's going into a competition with w6s you know. And if you're going for SQ the 1000/1 will be a solid match, you'll be more than happy.

The JL has a more adjustable EQ(more then my Kicker) but a good deck will do the same thing. That might be what he meant.. I hope

Kicker still smokes it in the output department though

no clue right?...mmm you're a funny dude, you've never heard of an sq amp? SQ amps aren't just 2 or 4 channel amps. I've heard w7s and w6s on kickers and hifonics, they sound like doo doo. If you have the loot get the jl 1000.
