the car is only $16,000

and has 27,000 miles

It's a nice car.

Not an old person car.

But I'm not a fan of the baby jag's.

I like the XJR's. Rode around in a 02 XJR for a few years and it really grew on me.

Fast as hel|! Beat a new GTO by 2 car lengths. That was sick.

That is correct. We had a 96 XJ6 and it was a pain.

OH. I completely forgot.

He's right 100%. Everything costs a fortune to fix. Don't expect cheap labor or parts. You'll be surprised. And they make it hard on their engines to do anything yourself.

Have had Jags for a while, never liked the new body style but I think the new 09's are a new body style?:S maybe but the one up there is kinda nice

I don't think so on the taurus part. I have a 94 taurus. My dad had the 02 XJR until this year and now he has an 08 Taurus. I've ridden in the baby jag's too - they all have a very nice ride. I would not get one though because of labor and because well.

So many things went wrong with the XJR and it was supposed to be their flagship car. I still liked it - but I wasn't paying the bills.

EDIT: They are on the lincoln ls platform. Wow. Have also had an 00 LS v8. Also a nice ride!

EDITEDIT: In case your wondering. Ford sold jaguar just this year.

my cousin works for a jag, bmw, mercedes, VW repair shop and he said basically most of them are glorified lincoln ls' everything says motorcraft (ford) under the car.

only differences most of the time are the warranties.

Ford Made Jags are the most reliable that a Jag has been... probably ever. The only one made on the Torus platform was the S-Type, which has been discontinued.

Probably a little more expensive to fix but not any more than it's German competition.
