is it safe to wire a audiopipe ap 1000 d down to a half ohm?

i have two xfl 12s and i have a audiopipe amp on each one at 1ohm

so i just wanted to know if i could maybe wire them down to a half a ohm to get more power without any big problems

So going by your post that means you have dual 2 ohm subs? You can't wire each amp to .5 ohm, unless you mean strapping them at .5 ohm, which i really do not recommend.

Audiopipe 1k wont do rated, maybe 7-900 if lucky, i would say get a bigger amp or another if possible..something to compliment the subs

I wouldn't either. Unless you are planning on getting different subs, it is not even an option.

AP amps do run hot. And if I understand your post, you cant run .5 anyways

no ,1 hm is the lowest you should go with the amp
