Is it safe to hook up 2 12s to a 2 channel amp that has a mono setting....if i set it to mono and bridge the 2 12's is it still safe... it beats a little harder that way 2 c12 competiton kickers and a kenwood KAC 7202 bridgable amp

you're fine only if you correctly match the resistance correctly.

Bridging a 2ch amp that is stable only at 4 ohms bridged and running it at 2 ohms will likely end in blown equipment.
