Is it ok to run one dvc sub off of two amps?

I had to sell my current system to pay bills so i dug up my old school stuff out of the clost and this is what i came up with.

2 Mtx Blue Thunder Pro 75x2 Amps (Circa 1996) , A Fosgate Punch200a4 (Circa 1999)

A RD Audio 15" Sonance and an old alpine deck.

My question is will it be ok to use the 2 matching mtx amps to power my single sub?

It is a D4 sub and each amp is 4 ohm stable bridged. It bangs pretty good considering its being powered by 2 75 watt amps. (Anybody who knows old stuff know that these amps are WAY UNDERRATED!! i believe they do at least 200-250 RMS Bridged.

So whats the deal? is it ok to use one per coil?

As long as they are identical, which they are, and the settings are lined up. Should be ok.

Just be careful and maybe try to match the gains with a DMM the best you can.

You don't want to put more power to one coil than the other.

Ok. I will have to borrow the meter from my uncle. Any specific test tone i should use? Maybe 50hz?

match the gains and it will be fine. i am running a 40.1 on each coil on my wardens.
