So I am finally hooking up my aq3500 and I get it all connected and go to set my gains and I am not getting ssshit for output. my subsonic is at 10 hz my lp is at 20 and with the gain all the way up I am only getting 1.3v on a 50 hz tone. I put my other amp back in and it works fine. Before I send it back I thought I would see if anyone has any input.

Your not getting anything because your not even passing a 50hz tone through it. Your going to fry something. Do you have the power for that amp?

Set your gains with your LP filter all the way up, your subsonic filter all the way down, and your remote volume knob all the way up.

Jesus lord. you have a 10hz range there. the only way its gonna make power ist at 15hz. turn off your LPF. Or send me your equipment. You have no business with that nice of equipment if you're gonna treat it like that. Knowledge is power.

I have a 220a alt and 2 batts for back. Right now I am gonna be running at2 ohms 1800 rms. So I can supply whats needed power wise. Lol, I had a feeling I had something set wrong, so you turn the subsonic all the way up and lp all the way down. Thanks

Naw, like everyone said you need to adjust your settings. Subsonic is fine for the most part the lpf needs be turned up though.

You're still backwards. Subsonic all the way down (or off if you have a proper box and power)[or, the lowest note you want the subs to play full tilt], Low pass at the level in which you want the bass to start cutting off. Think of the low pass as the highest frequency you want the amp putting out full power. If you want the subs to start fading at 80hz, it should be set to 80hz.

High pass is the exact opposite. If you want to stop frying mids, you would set the high pass to the lowest note you would want them playing full potential. For example, my 4x6 high pass is at 160hz, my front door coaxs are set to 125. I am losing a bit of frequency range by this, but I know I'll never blow a mid because it is trying to play an 80hz note.

The Low-pass setting filters out frequencies BELOW it. So you had your amp set to play a range of 10-20hz.... There's your problem. Crank that bish all the way up, and then tune it in after you set your gains.
