Nuthuggers and yuppies love JL, and they are also usually the people who cant do their own installs. Lot of money to be made on an overpriced product that clueless people believe in.

i thought about going to the other shop in town problem is ive never been there for anything so im not sure if i want to trust them doing the install. my current place is expensive but they back up there installs for life. other shop coulda throw em in a cardboard box and shut down the next day

i see your in florida where is this shop at?

sound depot and performance in gainesville . the other shop i thought about going to is pure pressure audio they do competing in the north florida area

Ive had l7's and Fi Q's and my 2 18" Fi Q's where pretty much as loud as my 4 15" l7's. The bl is a tad louder than the Q's.

Yeah, my guess is that he doesn't either want to deal with the headache of doing the wall setup or just doesn't know how to do it.

it seems that way ive gone to him for years for work on my car and they have always been the most professional serivce u could possible ask for. on this recent car just absolute slack. had a certain level of funds at his dispose to get my car banging and his customer service just sucked. never contacted me with ideas or anything so i i took the funds off the table and went for my own sub investment

i just know that gmonks from tampa, so it couldnt be that far off.

he'll build it for you, and it will get the job done.

the installer was just trying to make more money off you, hence suggesting another brand when you already have other subs in place.

wow, i cant believe he said that... but why did he recommend the solo-x's??? they are still 18"s LOL... he wanted you to buy from him, i wouldnt trust him with the wall. sounds like he'll just slap it together.

i would suggest Pure Pressure. Ive heard a few of their setups and man... they can make shit LOUD if you tell them its for a daily SPL. i wouldnt go back to that a-hole
