hell, for loud just go with an L7 or something. If you want more sq, you may need to look somewhere besides crutchfield.

I would build a better box for your infinitys.

Something like a 4th or 6th order bandpass, ABC or something from http://www.decware.com.

I seriously doubt you will be able to get much louder purchasing new subs(at your budget) then your current subs in a more SPL orientated box. Ported is loud- but there are louder ways to go.

I think two maw-15's in a 8 cu ft net box, tuned to about 32-34 hz, would absolutely slam.

This why I recomend you build a different box- Infinity's specs are aimed to please the average consumer based on reasonable size constraints. Going bigger and more complicated can result in higher SPL and similar if not better SQ.

Just a thought man- if you wanna spend more money on subs then a new amp for them go ahead.

And 2 of the Decware "DeathBoxes" for your 12s would slam. I have a single 12" infinity reference in one and it amazes alot of people.

The ones you would wanna look at would be the DeathBox 2 and the Wicked One.

I had never really heard of them until I stumbled upon them building a setup for my new car a few years ago- but those two designs are amazing output. Especially the Wicked One. SQL Monster.

What is the real point in Bandpass, I have heard that they can sound great but for the extra money and design issues do they really offer that much more in any area. In other words how does a well designed bandpass compare to a well designed ported box tuned low?
