Is 1 15 going to be enough ? need some opinions and thoughts.

First ill get it outa the way im running 2 jl 10w3v3s under back seat in my extended cab silverado on a jl slash 1000v2 . it hits ok but i cant push the subs hard enough i miss my old 15 i had in my cavlier years ago was on a ppi pcx 1000d sub was a 500watt rms orion in a 1.75 cuft box sealed . that sub destroyed my car rear view mirror fell off after a few weeks so the question is will a ported 15 in a 4cuft box be loud in the console of my truck firing backwards? sub im looking into is a 15"atomic apocalypse series .. opinions needed!!

and i know ill get hated on for running jl but its clean and have my own opinions for running them so lets keep this on topic and not hey jl ***** run sundown or whatever i know my amp puts out 1000watts and thats all i care about lol

I have 1 15 in 4 cubes net, and it does very well.
