Well then, I take back what I said about you. Did that tech ever fix your upstream level?I dont know. But I agree, IPhone FTL.

Happy for you. I know all about moving up the ladder seeing as I started as a lowly tech, and am now a Network Administrator for a pretty large communications company. Gotta start somewhere.next you will want to post my credit cards and such. i can post my debit card tomorrow. left it at the office. BTW all city council assistants are Admin Assistants, i just moved up to cheif of staff since our old one resigned...its called moving up the ladder. considering my educational aspirations this is a very good move for me.
Hm, letters about? Are they watching your bandwidth? I had this problem with Comcast when I first switched to them a few years back but called and *****ed that the contract didn't state a certain upload / download limit and they soon stopped complaining. I don't think they like me very much though as my internet cuts off once every few days. PITA.Comcast is a bunch of dirty *****s. Keep postponing coming out and setting our shit up. But I finally got some stuff fixed, was getting around 700kbps-1.1mbps downloading, then I got letters from Comcast.

I keep telling everyone that Comcast doesn't control that. If your internet keeps cutting off, you need to call a tech. Its something to do with your drop system (the cable that comes to your house and the cable in your house).I don't think they like me very much though as my internet cuts off once every few days. Hily moly! As I said, my friends dl illegally all of the time and have never been warned once. Maybe it varies from state to state?Letters about illegal downloads. I got one for Transformers and another for Michael Clayton lol
Since it started I've had about 4 techs come out to my house, and they've replaced **** near every piece of equipment and cable I have both in my house and outside of my house (Trust me, they leave huge holes to prove they did it, lol) and they say it should be working but next day shit cuts off again T_T I've given up though, I've almost learned it's routine so I just reset my router when I suspect it's gonna happen and all is well. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifI keep telling everyone that Comcast doesn't control that. It varies by whether the gov. catches you I believe. AFAIK, comcast could care less, it's when an organization to stop illegal downloads connects to your torrent client they save your IP and mail your service provider stating the download. Comcast doesn't usually take action on it though from what I've seen.Hily moly! As I said, my friends dl illegally all of the time and have never been warned once. Trust me, just because they replaced everything doesn't mean that their workmanship is up to par. You could still have problems from a badly cut connector.Since it started I've had about 4 techs come out to my house, and they've replaced **** near every piece of equipment and cable I have both in my house and outside of my house (Trust me, they leave huge holes to prove they did it, lol) and they say it should be working but next day shit cuts off again T_T I've given up though, I've almost learned it's routine so I just reset my router when I suspect it's gonna happen and all is well. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Great DL speed and UL speed though, best I can get out in my area so I'll put up with the frustration.
Yeah but I've given up, it's not worth spending the whole day at my house waiting for them cause they tell me they'll be here between 9am and 5pm every **** time, which pisses me off, might as well just not give a time frame. But it's not that bad of an issue, I still like comcast, if I didn't I'd change my ISP, even if it does mean slower speeds. But they do what I need and do it pretty well. All I gotta do is unplug / replug my router once every couple days, so it's not too bad.Trust me, just because they replaced everything doesn't mean that their workmanship is up to par. i was thinking of the wrong phone, for some reason i was thinking the HTC touch thing, the mogul is actually a pretty neat phone, but imo its still garbaged with WM6, from reading some stuff it will probably still piss me offSo to plug in your numbers...
$400 for inferior iPhone
$40 for warranty
$36 for T-Mobile act.
$90 per month for plan
Total: $476 with 90 per month
vs.
$249 for HTC Mogul
Free activation
$66 per month for plan and insurance
$70 for 8gb SD card.
Total: $319 with $66 per month
Still seems like the Mogul is the winner to me...
Now if the iPhone was 3g, and had a removable battery, I could maybe justify the cost. If Apple would fully commit the iPhone to At&T, then they could offer new activation discounts which would make it more appealing. Other than that, its just another attempt at a real smartphone; not the technological breakthrough that it is hyoed up to be.i was thinking of the wrong phone, for some reason i was thinking the HTC touch thing, the mogul is actually a pretty neat phone, but imo its still garbaged with WM6, from reading some stuff it will probably still piss me off
im waiting on a 3g iphone, probably end up getting one
Supposedly there back in stock. They're letting you trade the Touch in for a Mogul? I thought there was a huge backorder right now?
