Happy for you. I know all about moving up the ladder seeing as I started as a lowly tech, and am now a Network Administrator for a pretty large communications company. Gotta start somewhere.

However, to me the iPhone is very comparable to a Helio Ocean when you get an 8gb card. The Mogul is actually way out of its league.

Comcast is a bunch of dirty *****s. Keep postponing coming out and setting our shit up. But I finally got some stuff fixed, was getting around 700kbps-1.1mbps downloading, then I got letters from Comcast.

Hm, letters about? Are they watching your bandwidth? I had this problem with Comcast when I first switched to them a few years back but called and *****ed that the contract didn't state a certain upload / download limit and they soon stopped complaining. I don't think they like me very much though as my internet cuts off once every few days. PITA.

Comcast CS is shitty, but their techs are pretty good. Some of them. Make sure you request an in-house tech! As for these letters, I have friends that dl way more than that and have gotten no letters.

I keep telling everyone that Comcast doesn't control that. If your internet keeps cutting off, you need to call a tech. Its something to do with your drop system (the cable that comes to your house and the cable in your house).

Great DL speed and UL speed though, best I can get out in my area so I'll put up with the frustration.

It varies by whether the gov. catches you I believe. AFAIK, comcast could care less, it's when an organization to stop illegal downloads connects to your torrent client they save your IP and mail your service provider stating the download. Comcast doesn't usually take action on it though from what I've seen.

Trust me, just because they replaced everything doesn't mean that their workmanship is up to par. You could still have problems from a badly cut connector.

Yeah but I've given up, it's not worth spending the whole day at my house waiting for them cause they tell me they'll be here between 9am and 5pm every **** time, which pisses me off, might as well just not give a time frame. But it's not that bad of an issue, I still like comcast, if I didn't I'd change my ISP, even if it does mean slower speeds. But they do what I need and do it pretty well. All I gotta do is unplug / replug my router once every couple days, so it's not too bad.

i was thinking of the wrong phone, for some reason i was thinking the HTC touch thing, the mogul is actually a pretty neat phone, but imo its still garbaged with WM6, from reading some stuff it will probably still piss me off

Now if the iPhone was 3g, and had a removable battery, I could maybe justify the cost. If Apple would fully commit the iPhone to At&T, then they could offer new activation discounts which would make it more appealing. Other than that, its just another attempt at a real smartphone; not the technological breakthrough that it is hyoed up to be.

Can it be tethered to be used as a modem like the HTC Mogul can?

I'd give it a few years when At&T decides to give up the rights to the iPhone and T-Mobile gets it...then everyone else gets it just like the Razr.

I'd also wait for Comcast's cellular service to come out. Their intro phone will blow the iPhone away as well as any other phone on the market. HBO OnDemand on your phone FTW!

They're letting you trade the Touch in for a Mogul? I thought there was a huge backorder right now?

Supposedly there back in stock.

I believe the problem was that they wanted the new phones to be shipped with the update, which caused a little delay in getting them out.

I was originally told they were unavailable, but with some persistence I got one on the way...hoping it gets here tomorrow.
