i kno i kno another type r thread. this one actually has meaning though. dont these subs have a "gasket" style surround? does this mike it only to be mounted normally? i want to invert them, for space reasons. also...if anyone has 2005 mustang box pics, PLEASE help me.

try it out and see what happens... i dont think the surround is going to make a difference..

you can easily remove the gasket and reinstall it upside down.

What type of gasket? Some subs actually recquire a gasket to seal when inverted. I believe the IDMAX is one of them.

i think he means the mounting flange, not the actual part of the suspension

oh, if he means the mounting piece. you can slip that off flip it over and slip it back on upside down...
