what is this and what are some signs that its kicking in, i think this is the problem im having with the door speakers? there rainbow dream lines, nothing special but sound great untill they go into this i think protect mode...still trying to rule out the issue

So your saying your tweeter is cutting out on you?

some companies add a cap or protective mode to cut off the tweeter so you wont blow it.

125 per side might be to much for those coaxials, try lowering your gains on your amp.

If you're useing the xover on the amp turn it off/ full range.

make sure your bass boost is off as well, then on your deck you can xover your speaker @ 80-100.

thanks ill try it, and if i lower gain anymore it just isnt loud enough...and its getting 100 watts a speaker bump
