installing help!!!!!

im trying to install a car audio system inside my room, i just sold my car n have no use for my subs n amp so im tryn to just experiment with them, is it possible to install it to a stereo n my room, im getn a car battery n charger to run it off of n ground it, but can the REM wire be wired to the stereo, n how would that be done, if you ever done this or no how or any information on how to do this message me back

wire the remote wire to a regular toggle switch and then to the battery. When you want the amp on, just flip the switch
