get the best under the hood battery that fits/afford if you are doing it this way.

Well Im diggin this old thing up since I just redid my system and gotta start figuring out the issue now. I ran the 1/0 and it didnt really do a whole lot, I am thinking of next upgrading a better underhood battery and see if that will do anything, I am going to be a little angry if it turns out to no do anything...What do you guys think?

I like my optima because I can play my system with the car off for along time and the engine will always start right up...

I recently installed HID headlights. The way the kit is you run them right off the battery. I get zero dimming now! You may want to try running your stockers to a ground and straight to the battery. I noticed a nice difference with the stock Halogens when I switched to a Kinetic 1400 battery. Do a battery and run the headlights direct and you shouldn't have any dimming. FWIW HID's take 50% less power if you decide to go that way.

I am thinking about trying to upgrade the battery under my hood and possibly using my stock battery into the trunk or something...I just need to fix this because A) Its dimming the lights really bad which doesnt look good at night B) The amp isnt getting enough current
