I put a box,subs and amp in my cousins car today and imo it sounds like azz!It all came as a package prefab ported box,2 12"american bass subs(says dx on dust cover)and a american bass 400x2 amp.I guess the stereo shop where she bought it pre adjusted everything for her because the subs were already in the box and the amp mounted on the box.I readjusted everything and it still sounds bad and does not hit very hard.has anyone else tried this combo?

What kinda car..how is the box facing, and prefab ported box is one problem.

That is your problem most pre made boxes are not designed for the woofer they put in there.

It is in an 06 scion tc,subs are facing back of hatch.I figured it was way under powered but it was supposed to be a all matching set(subs,box,amp)anyway it seems like junk to me.
