installed pioneer deh5000ub nothing but bassperiod

i just replaced ny clarion head unit with the pioneer deh5000ub (if thats correct). Must say the upgrade is a 101% better although im getting to much bass from my subs eternal series 12"- i turned my gain and bass boost down on my amp but still the same. it seems the unit has alot features for power that im not even use to. when the volume is on five it sounds when my clairion was on 20. a little help would be nice,and yes i have read the manual all day.thanks god bless

since you change HU, you should set ur gains again and check your LPF.

low pass was turned down- loudness was turned down - gain and bass boost was was turned down- to my knowledge and understanding ofthis unit its all down . this must of been the unit ive been looking for but i dont want to bust my subs there all i got right now thanks though

how about sub control on the head unit and bass settin on the hu

read the user manual.... learn how to use the functions of the head unit. you should have SW controls...

checked that also i was thinking of using the rear output instead of the sus output
