Night and day difference, man.would a ported box really make that big of a difference?
it sucked, but it came out nice. is it just me, or does this not make senseFor that much you can get a handmade box shipped from this dude:http://www.fishercustoms.com/products.html
But if you must have this box NOW ... I guess I would go with the circuit city one. It's got about a 3.5cu ft volume before you subtract the vent. (no specs on page). After port you're probably looking at 2.75-3.0cu ft final. The q logic says only 1.25cu ft per sub.
I agree, prefabs ****. They don't even tell you the volume or the tuning! I built my first slot port recently. It sucked but it came out wicked nice and I'm happy I did it.
Lots of guys on here would build you one for around those prices. I would do it for ya but I have finals coming up. which equals no fun lolya but if i had to buy from a local store what one would you choose:http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=7008463&type=product&id=1099392684140

It sucked trying to figure out how to design one correctly that would fit in my shallow *** trunk. It also sucked cutting mdf and breathing in dust because i'm too stupid to wear a mask, not to mention the cleanup of that mdf dust that coated everything in my garage.it sucked, but it came out nice. is it just me, or does this not make sense
very good advice buddy... you know exactly what your talking about. go get a 1 watt spaeker from radio shack too. if you wanna get real technical use an iso meter too...Check your amps output with a DMM when setting the gain. Also, try using a 60hz 0db test tone burned to a cd on repeat while setting the gain. I bet you're not putting out a full 800 watts.
