Installed alternator...

being a ford its probly a serpintine(yeah i know, sound it out) you know the one where you just turn one bolt and it loosens the whole thing

mine also whines and noticed belt dust too. Tightend it up goes away for a couple of days and comes back. I dont want to keep tightning it cause itll do damage to the alts bearing, i think 1 of my batts is going I have to test them this weekend.

its small pieces of black rubber that looks like dust lol its caused from belt slippage and i also used the belt conditioner and didnt work so dont bother using it to stop the squeling, i still think its caused by a bad batt, its probably acid batt under the hood i got to test it.
