Oh great guru's of all. I am in kind of a creativity slump //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif I believe this is the first time that this has ever happened to me before. I have a friend who drives a convertible Chevy Tracker. He wants to keep his back seat. I hae already installed his head unit ( Alpine cva 1000 ) changer, components ( kicker resolutions). He wanted two 12's, after several minutes of laughter when he showed me the space behind his seat. I convinced him to go with a single 12" in a sealed box. Got that paart done. Now for the fun. I can't think of any creative ways to mount the amps in the space provided. I need to mount a bd1000.1, and a 800.4. Any ideas ? all help would be appreciated. I have good wood working skills, as well as glassing skills. H@ll I have even dabbled in metal occasionally.

I asked him about that idea. I also asked about mounting them in the rear seat. His wife won't let me cut anything in the car. I think it would look cool as h@ll. I was thinking of mounting the amps one on each side and the distro blocks in the middle. And make a fiberglass cover. But his wife said no dice //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Anybody got any ideas ? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Build a slim amp rack or two and mount the amps to the floor with a plexy cover and maybe some neon just for show that ill come on with the stereo.. The plexy is to keep em protected but also to see the amps.. You can vent the amps on the back with a fan in the front which will also help with the warm air circulation in the back..Just something that came to mind when you said no cutting.

I like the plexi idea. I just ran an idea by him that he might like. it consists of mounting the amps at an angle in a fiberglass shroud so to speak. With a plexi cover. Either wrapped in color matched vinyl or painted to match the exterior which ever he wants. i will run your idea by him also to see what he thinks. Thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
