i can't believe it would be much worse than having heavy plastic mesh grills from the factory covering em up... I mean people put metal grill bars in front of their subs... I'm sure i'll make some difference but the lower the frequencies the less you will notice imho.

cut them out if you want to have the space bro, if it is a true daily driver and not a street racer you don't need the bar if you are now wanting a premium sound system. jut mo, i know you spent some cash for but just throwing it out there as an option.

Well.....just got the car back from the shop in Pa. It is now at the upholstery shop here in Akron ohio. After getting the car unloaded, we went over everything that needed done to the car. After getting a closer look at what is going on with the doors and speaker location, it looks like I will be able to put my driver just above where those two side bars meet up with the down bar coming off the A-pillar. I ordered my components yesterday from Jason Paul @ Cadence.....I decided to go with the CVL-6K component set.......I am really looking forward to seeing how these will sound in my Mach 1. I think having them closer to the tweeter is really gonna creat a really good sound stage.

Those q-logic kicks would never fit in my car because of the rollcage........would destroy them tryin to get them in there. Thanks anyways though!
