Gotta be involved otherwise you can't ***** if they don't do something right. When I recently had my stuff redone they had my car for a week and I was there three times :

I wish I could have been more involved in the fist Scion overhaul. The installer just started doing what he thought was cool but it was a flop. I ended up getting most of my money back but I still had to pull it out and start over

Definitely not a bad price for all that work, hopefully he does good work for the cheapness, still a ton of money though for an install. I'd gladly install some audio for $900! Haha

I have no interest anymore in grinding my knuckles or laying upside down under my dash for hours. I also have no desire to smash my head against walls when some random electrical bug pops up during an install. I'll gladly spend some of my fun money to let someone else do it lol.

i guess some like to throw money out the window....

no body has touched my truck. and nobody will. and im disabled but i will still do the work even if it takes be 10 times longer. plus it gives me something to do or i would go crazy.

I also think vehicle plays a role too. Little different putting in a system in a 2015 fusion than say a 87 blazer ..Not much electrical compared to the newer cars and you're putting a box in a space the size of my bedroom. Try cramming my system in my trunk along with the electrical in that Alero. Much different.

That also helped make my choice. Sync has a lot going on. Either way I cant fab anything and it's going to need baffles. I'm still in the air if I want to get that box or not.
