I bought a zapco reference 750 to pair with my Reference 150. The installer had this swiss audio sw121w (4 ohm DVC) wired in series for an 8 ohm load if I am correct on the wiring diagrams.

The 750 is 4 ohm stable when bridged. What is my best option of wiring this amp and this sub.

I plan on replacing the sub this summer by the way.

I never clicked on them. Why paricle board for the enclosure? I would have sprung for the MDF myself.

Wasn't it Mark Potts that swore by particle board?

what are the box dimensions, and its sealed i assume? what did you use to cut out your sub hole, and what bit?

Yes box is sealed. The box is roughly 1.2 cubic feet. I used a jigsaw to cut the hole.

Here are so pics of the almost finished product. I should be getting a Zapco Reference 750 any day now. When it gets here it goes in the large empty space.

what were you max dimensions under the seat and be able to keep the box under the seat without it going past the the end of the seat and the seat being able to still latch? also did you raise the seat at all

The sub is in a box all to itself. What you see looks like 1 piece but it is actually 2. The box has an agnled top . I did not make any mods to the truck Seat is in its normal position.

yeah i see that it is in 1 box, and that it is angled. just shoot me those tomarrow, trying to get a rough idea of what you were working with
