Ok, I'm reading the specs on my hifonics xxv colossus amp and it is recommeding an inline fuse with at least 300amps, would it be safe to run that and my highs amp that is 50wx5 rms along with the 3200wx1 amp? If not, where can I find a bigger inline fuse? Also, wouldn't I run my power in this sequence, battery to inline fuse, to distribution block to cap to sub amp and distribution block to highs amp? Thanks for the help.

Dude you're going to kill that amp if you dont get a good electrical to back it up. Lose the cap, it wont do shit for you.

Im not trying to be harsh, but if you dont have a h/o alternator, the big 3, and a decent battery or two i see bad things happening.

true, you are gonna need a h/o alt and a few GOOD batteries or your voltage will drop and the amp will go up in smoke. Upgrade your electrical first.
