i guess the older model doesn't support 4awg wire looks like 16awg or bigger

how should i hook it up without having to go and buy a distribution block?

yes power and ground. looks like 8g but its last min and no distro block.

buy a 4ga to 8ga reducer, or trim up the end of the wire to fit

u can get 4ga in there u will have to trim the wire down... what wire do u have now ?
