Inside of Sub box question

honestly, fiberglassing the sides in with the box, if you had a back or up facing box would of helped more, but since your trunk is sealed off to begin with, you wouldn't notice a difference besides cosmetics in sound. but if that's what you intended, im wondering what the finished result will be. maybe if you fiberglassed the box with the sides to create one essential piece, that would look sweet.rather than carpet meets fiberglass you know

These pieces aren't not meant to affect sound, these are just to cover up the ugly gaping holes so the trunk won't look like crap. Why make the rest look nice if I have those gaping holes? That whole thing is not the sub "box", only the individual compartment for the sub. Plus if they were permanently attached to the baffle, it would be impossible to get it out of the trunk especially with the length of the baffle, it's just for looks. Read the whole thread to see what I mean.

Here's with the panel (obviously it won't look exactly like this since it will be covered with carpet and such...):

And without:

So hopefully you can see why I wanna cover it :)
