Inside of Sub box question

Hey Look! There is a Civic on that sub enclosure! lol.
That looks very very nice. Think that the amps will have heat sync issues? I had a similar setup in my F150 and I had major issues with the amps cutting out because they got to hot. The amps are fine though, obviously it's a trip to avoid damage. It was really annoying though.

I'm spending a lot of time learning about these enclosures so I can possibly make my own. I need a pretty custom application for my Sport Trac.
I don't know much about the Alpine amps, but I had my Pheonix Gold Xenon 100.4 running two 6x9's and my Xenon 10 in my half ton. I crammed it into a tight spot much like these are. I cut vent holes in the sides, and carpetted over the holes and didn't have an issue at all. On some of my road trips that amp was kicking pretty hard for a long time.

So I was in Ireland for 2 weeks so I haven't had time to finish everything in the trunk. I did get a lot done. I ordered the carpet and LEDs (million color ones they fade through all the colors) and installed them the other day. I also decided to go with a trim panel (1/8" MDF) for the carpet that way I cant remove the trim panel to get at the main screws whenever I need to remove something instead having to peel off the carpet. Another thing I need to figure out is a way to attach the edges of the carpet that cover the edges past the window that's why in the pictures the windows look a little crooked cause the carpet is not fastened down I need a temporary solution for this so if anyone has any ideas let me know. I still have to cut a piece for the floor panel and then do something about the sides.

Here's the pics, let me know what you think.

It just looks like that when its not attached because you are seeing the overhanging edges for the windows which cover up the exposed wood on the main panel, also I didn't trim the sides perfect yet. The actual carpet is really flat except where the edges need to be secured by the windows.

Lol ha ha yeah bottom/floor panel soon but I gotta figure out how to fill the sides of gonna use some fiberglass somehow... Still gotta figure it out.
Nice. I have to make my first attempt at fibre glassing to make the sub box for the dodge soon.

It would be nice if you could cover the back of the seat too hey? You can see the blue frame and the foam through your trunk hinge openning.

I gotta say though, I am very impressed with this build. Especially since it is your first build.

So yesterday I worked on the cover panel for one of the sides. Decided to go fiberglass. I Masked off everything and then use some cotton (t-shirt) and stapled and hot glued it over the spot where I wanted it to go. Then layed some fiberglass on top of that.

So here's the work so far, still gotta trim (gotta get a dremel) the fiberglass and then maybe sand it a little bit and then carpet it.
