anyone have experience with the new ones?

I have two right now and they sound great and get loud... i'm just curious as to how hard i can push these without hurting them... I can get them moving real well with 1000-1200rms to the pair...

I have an excursion vid that i'll post eventually...

yea no joke, they take it like a champ... and they obviously don't get the full 1200 ALL the time...

My sister just ordered a pair of 1240W's, then are arriving today. Unfortunately, it'll be a while before she has a box/amp to install them, so I can't give you any immediate feedback.

Upstate, and i can prolly compare them to the type R as far as sound quality... and IMO get as loud with 1000 watts... the R's would get louder with more power...

These things are either inefficient as hell and need 500 before they'll start to wang or they are very well built and really do have "increased power handling"
