infinity basslink sub question

i love this unit, i have one. i have the crossover freq at around 80-90Hz and im happy, my question is, the bass boost knob. i have it in the middle, should i put it all the way back or is bassboost just wasting the power for the sub? i carefully watch the servo LED for max excursion and it lights at max. just wondering if bassboost is worth it or should i turn it all the way back in the negatives? thanks.
