Punch 150s or 200s??

I need to know which amp would be better for my Punch Z 12s.Should I get a Punch 150 or save up a little longer and get a Punch 200?These subs are only 50-100 watts RMS and 200 max.So which would I be better off with?I dont want to blow the subs because I heard of people blowing them easily.Also their is a JBL GTS180x on sale in Crutchfield for 79.99.It says it has 90w x 2 at 2 ohms and it also has a bass boost.Would that amp be good w/my subs?Because I could save a lot of money if I went with this amp.Thanks.

A 200s would pound them fairly nicely as well as a 150 but i say the 200 that way you can upgrade subs later but it should'nt blow em not even in parrlell. That jbl would'nt push those subs to great I would get maybe a rockford 200@1 amp as well all three awsome amps.

I would say get the jbl because its a great older amp at a great price and after you get more money to upgrade the 90x2 can be used to power mids and tweets.The rf's are not bad little amps but are to weak for mids and tweets.Always think of the future and not wasting unnecesary money down the road.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I found a good deal on an MTX 4202 at Circuit City! Its 100W x 2 just like the Punch200.It is only $139.99 and it is $199.99 in Crutchfield.This amp would be cheaper than the Punch 200 or the Punch 150 and will be pushing just as much power as the Punch 200.Is this a good buy??And would it sound good w/my subs?

The jbl gts180 is 60wx2 rms @4 ohms witch is perfect for mids and tweets down the road.If you get a rf the punch 250 is the one with 60wx2 rms @4 ohms.The jbl wins hands down for the price man.Good luck.

Dude you dont even know how underated those Rf amps are the Rf would romp that JBL in power but the cool thing about the JBL is you dont have to have a remote wire or Rcas so thats cool but it would'nt put out near the power as say a 250.2 amp.
